Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Retriebear UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Kolonnenstraße 8, 10827 Berlin, Germany, represented by its managing director Hermann Suesskind.

Email: privacy@retriebear.com

2. Hosting and server log files

This website and our email mailboxes are operated by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the host pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit the website, the server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, previously visited page (referrer), browser and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website. The log files are stored only for as long as necessary for this purpose and are then deleted or anonymised.

3. Contact by email and contact form

If you write to us by email or via the contact form, we process the information you provide: your email address, your name if given, and the content of your message. We use it exclusively to answer your enquiry.

Messages from the contact form are transmitted in encrypted form and forwarded as an email to our mailbox; they are not stored on the website itself. To protect against spam, the form uses an invisible check field, without external services and without cookies.

After you submit the form, we automatically send a confirmation with a copy of your details to the email address you entered. To prevent the form from being misused to send emails to other people’s addresses, we store a non-reversible check value of the email address and of the IP address for no more than 24 hours; it is then deleted automatically.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or is aimed at concluding one, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in answering your enquiry. Providing this information is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply to you.

We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply, for example for business correspondence under Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO).

4. Cookies, language selection and login area

No cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device when you visit this website. The language selection also works without a cookie: the selected language is part of the address, for example retriebear.de/de/.

The exception is the password-protected administration area. There, WordPress sets technically necessary cookies for logging in (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). To protect against automated login attempts, the IP addresses of failed login attempts are stored temporarily (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. No analytics, no external content

We do not use any analytics or tracking services and do not show any advertising. Fonts, images and all other content are loaded from our own server. No data is transferred to third parties when you visit the website. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.

6. Links to social networks

Our website links to our profiles on social networks. These are simple links, not embedded content or plugins: no data is transferred to these networks when you visit our website. Only when you click a link and open the respective network does its privacy policy apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

Just write to privacy@retriebear.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
